However, that claim originated from the doctor’s famous letter, which was later revealed to have been dictated – word for word – by Donald J. Trump. No other source corroborates the 1980 starting date. However, in 2016, Dr. Bornstein let it slip that Trump had only been his patient for 30 years, putting the start date at 1986… when Sascha Riley was 13 years old.
